Stringed Instruments Rental Program
At Vintage Violins, we provide a variety of quality instruments, professional instrument servicing, and low rate rental packages. We have more than just violins. We also have violas and cellos. You may rent any size of any string instument to fit your need. The minimum length of a rental period is 3 months.

Rental Policies
- A Security Deposit will be added to the first payment of the rental fee and is refundable.
- HST will be applied on all rental fees.
- All rental payments must be made by credit card or by cash. Renter must sign an authorization payment form.
Instrument Insurance Coverage
You will be responsible for 40% of the selling price if the instrument is destroyed, lost or stolen. The cost of the insurance is $1.50 per month for violin and viola, and $3.00 per month for cello. Insurance is compulsory.
Instrument adjustments and minor repairs are free of charge.
Renters have to pay for the replacement cost of strings.
