  • Violin maker: Ming-Jiang Zhu is a highly acclaimed instrument maker from China who has won numerous awards from various international competitions, including those held by the Violin Society of America. In 1994 and 2006 he won the VSA Gold Medals in violin making. In 1996 he won the VSA Silver Medal in viola making. During the years 1992, 1994, 2002, 2006, and 2008 he also won the VSA Viola Workmanship Certificate of Merit.
